KUANG SI FALLS, LAOS- Sunrise Motorbike Mission- Behind The Lens EP. 009

This episode features an early morning mission to Kuang Si Falls in Luang Prabang, Laos. We had a 430am wake up call and rode motorbikes to the waterfalls to get there by 630am before any of the tourists. It was a stunning morning ride in the mountains of Laos, with the sunrise illuminating the mountains covered with low moving clouds. We had the entire place to ourselves for almost 2 hours until any tourists got there, this was an incredible day trip and HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you're going to Laos or South East Asia... add it to your travel bucket list! These waterfalls are the perfect day trip for tourists in Luang Prabang wanting to swim, see beautiful scenery, and enjoy pristine clear and aqua waterfalls as far as you can see. The falls start with shallow pools atop a steep hillside, after flowing through a limestone-rich jungle, the waterfall empties into three gently cascading pools. Hiking HUMANTAY LAKE In The Dark, Peru- Behind The Lens EP. 007

This episode features hiking Humantay Lake in Peru in the dark, so we could make it to the lake before sunrise and before the crowds. The week prior we had done tons of high altitude hiking, pushing our limits. For this hike, we had a midnight wake up call, to leave by 1am, to drive 3.5 hours on terrible roads, to hiking miles at high altitude in pitch black, just to make it for sunrise... WORTH IT!! Turn your passion for cameras and travel into a full time job - https://bit.ly/3dDYFdh Website: www.kevineassa.com Private Monthly Q & A’s, Photo Critiques, Photo Prints, and Coaching Calls: https://bit.ly/2ViRccp My Equipment: www.amazon.com/shop/kevineassa Humantay Lake is deep in the Andes Mountains of Peru, it is a lovely high- altitude trail that leads to a spectacular turquoise lake that sits at 13,779 feet above sea level, back dropped by the beautiful and massive Humantay Glacier and Humantay Mountain that sits high at 17,956 feet above sea level. Behind The Lens in a mini- series that dives into the daily life of a landscape photographers life and what must be done 'for the shot.' It goes into what is being the pretty Instagram picture: the equipment, camera settings, struggles, hardships, and daily challenges. After getting an in- depth look in the field, I go over exactly how I process these images from the locations shot at in the episode, diving into Lightroom, Photoshop and more. (This episode was filmed long before this so this was kept to the vlog and this EP doesn't include an editing portion). HITCHHIKING To ANGEL'S LANDING In The Middle Of The Night! America's MOST DANGEROUS HIKE?

This Behind The Lens episode features Angel's Landing- a breathtaking, but also potentially deadly hike. Brian and I wanted to do the hike in the middle of the night so we could take photos of the stars and of the sunrise. However, during the summer months you cannot park at the trailhead, and since the shuttle doesn't run in the wee hours of the night, we managed to hitchhike in a very cramped car to make it. We also ran into tons of wildlife and it was a terrifying hike, but such an incredible experience. A trail cut into solid rock in 1926 leads to the top of Angels Landing and provides views of Zion Canyon. It is a very steep hike filled with switchback after switchback, and is great for those that enjoy living on the edge, and for daredevils/ thrill seekers. EXPLORING PATAGONIA'S BIGGEST SECRET!!- The Colorful Patagonia Desert

Ready to experience one of the most scenic and untouched drives on planet earth? What's up guys!! We decided to stay in Argentina and head down to El Chalten, not before doing a long 18 hour road trip through the Patagonian Desert. I tried researching cool places to go, there was absolutely no information online. Nonetheless we headed on our way with plans to explore. We were absolutely mind blown by the beauty this 1000km stretch of desert had to offer. Crazy canyons, massive salt flats, and rock formations of all colors, this place is super underrated and definitely Patagonia's biggest secret. If you'd like to visit these colorful rock formations, surrounding canyons, or beautiful salt flats in the Patagonia desert.. the closest town is Perito Moreno in Argentina. Massive canyons and salt flats can be found on the way to Cuevo de los Manos, off of Ruta 40. These colorful rock formations are probably 30-50 minutes south of Perito Moreno, directly off the side of the road of Ruta 40. If this is your first time to the channel, welcome!
