EXPLORING PATAGONIA'S BIGGEST SECRET!!- The Colorful Patagonia Desert
Ready to experience one of the most scenic and untouched drives on planet earth?
What's up guys!! We decided to stay in Argentina and head down to El Chalten, not before doing a long 18 hour road trip through the Patagonian Desert. I tried researching cool places to go, there was absolutely no information online. Nonetheless we headed on our way with plans to explore. We were absolutely mind blown by the beauty this 1000km stretch of desert had to offer. Crazy canyons, massive salt flats, and rock formations of all colors, this place is super underrated and definitely Patagonia's biggest secret.

The Patagonian Desert, also known as the Patagonian Steppe is the largest desert in Argentina and is the 8th largest desert in the world by area, occupying 673,000 square kilometers. If you'd like to visit these colorful rock formations, surrounding canyons, or beautiful salt flats in the Patagonia desert.. the closest town is Perito Moreno in Argentina. Massive canyons and salt flats can be found on the way to Cuevo de los Manos, off of Ruta 40. These colorful rock formations are probably 30-50 minutes south of Perito Moreno, directly off the side of the road of Ruta 40.
